I love working with directors to discover the heart of a story. I’m particularly drawn to the sometimes funny, sometimes aching ways people try to understand each other. Often, it’s the smallest things that interest me most: a hesitation, an unexpected reaction, or a moment when something important passes between two people without being spoken.

My background as a classical violinist and visual artist has shaped the way I approach editing. I’m particularly interested in how the rhythm of an edit and the interplay between picture and sound shape what we notice and feel, drawing us closer to a character’s experience.

I trained in post-production at UCLA and work across narrative films and documentaries, bringing a practical understanding of how picture editing, sound, colour and VFX workflows are coordinated to bring a film through to completion.
